100% tuckpointing of all mortar joints, 100% sealant replacement at masonry control joints and all window frames perimeters and window glazing.

The building had not been maintained and was purchased by a new development group that needed to address the issues with the exterior. There were many leaks throughout the office spaces and the exterior wall needed a lot of work.

The mortar was deteriorating throughout, all the sealants were failing including the gaskets at the glass to metal and masonry soldier courses were allowing water to leach in at the top. Due to the large expense of completing the project Weathershield worked with Sanders Real Estate to develop a 3 year plan and complete the building in phases focusing on the worst sections first.

Dustless grinders and HEPA vacuums were used around the property to minimize dust exposure for the tenants and Weathershield employees. The technicians who are certified and trained in silica awareness and safety were very conscious of blocking off the sections of the building they would be working on each day.
