Solution:
Weathershield was commissioned to make repairs to the concrete detail on the front elevation of the building. Our experienced operations and field technicians developed a plan to repair and renew the aging concrete structure. The concrete was spalling, badly cracked and had exposed metal rebar that was beginning to corrode.
Results:
After prepping and treating the rebar our team utilized a combination of routing & filling cracks as well as various methods of concrete restoration to bring the structure back to its former glory. Finally, it was coated with two coats of waterproof paint.
